HOWTO add the trash bin to your desktop

well this is a quick and short one.
alt+f2 then run gconf-editor.
go to
apps > nautilus > desktop
on the right side look for this entry
trash_icon_visible
check the box. and you’re done. change trash_icon_name if you wish to.
